Chris Long is a Gaston/Muncie native.  His grandfather was a songwriter who specialized in country/western gospel music.  From the age of 13 they played his songs and he taught Chris what he knew about chords and strumming.  Years later Chris began writing his own songs and performing them at local open mic events around the Midwest.
